What's new

International air cargo in Latin America and the Caribbean grew 4% in July
In July 2026, a total of 334,099 metric tons of international air cargo was transported to, from, and within Latin America and the Caribbean, 12,754 tons more than in the same month of 2025 (+4%). The region completed seven consecutive months of growth, although the rate eased from 4.7% in June. Brazil and Colombia accounted for nearly all of the regional net increase, while Peru and Panama maintained positive results and Mexico and Chile grew at moderate rates.
