Rio de Janeiro, June 3rd, 2024 - For over a century, Michelin Aircraft Tires has been a leader in aviation, offering safe, innovative, and sustainable solutions to its clients. The company is recognized as a best-in-class partner to the aerospace industry offering biais and radial tires for military, commercial, regional and general aviation and, today, joins the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) as a new affiliate member.

Daniela Wolter, Commercial Director of aircraft tire at Michelin Latin America, commented: “Michelin has embraced an "All-sustainable" approach to evolve its growth model towards an equitable balance between human, economic and environmental issues. Aeronautical Engineer from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin, with a distinguished track record in operations optimization and sustainability in the airline and automotive industry. She has a diverse background, with experience  quality assurance and operational management.  As part of the fuel team at Viva Air, she led initiatives that resulted in the reduction of CO2 emissions, SAF tracking and fuel efficiency management. Currently, her focus is on developing innovative solutions to promote the circular economy and achieve sustainability objectives through the implementation of key performance indicators and strategic tracking of environmental goals.
