Panama, November 15, 2022 – The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) and the aviation school based in Argentina and the United States, XFlight, have signed a MOU to promote educational programs aimed at boosting the professional development of Latin American aviation.

Through this agreement ALTA will offer to the entire aeronautical community in the region, via ALTA's Educational Hub, XFlight's specialized course curriculum that includes 12 courses, among which stand out: private aircraft or helicopter pilot with VFR qualification, business aircraft or helicopter pilot with HVI qualification, crewmember, first class business airline pilot and flight instructor.

Since its founding in 2013, XFlight has graduated more than 200 students. What started with one aircraft at the airfield in Esperanza city, Santa Fe province, Argentina, has now become an international school with two locations where quality instruction is provided according to international standards, with a large and modern fleet of aircraft, simulators and helicopters, in addition to the endorsement of the ANAC.

"It is a pleasure to add one more partner to ALTA's Educational Hub. It has been very satisfying to witness the commitment of the flight schools to the Latin American and Caribbean region, a region that today leads the global recovery indexes. The region is growing despite the challenges and therefore it is essential to continue the efforts as an industry to promote training, continuous upgrading and attracting professionals to accompany the growth that the sector is experiencing. Welcome XFlight, thank you for your confidence in ALTA", comments José Ricardo Botelho, ALTA's Executive Director & CEO.

“We are very happy with this partnership with ALTA. It is an extremely important project for us and, together with ALTA, we seek to strengthen relations with the sector and achieve alliances. We are a young company with the latest generation aircraft, we have commercial offices in Quito, Lima and soon in Panama. We hope to continue growing with ALTA and supply the aeronautical market”, says Esteban Rosso, XFlight's Chief Relationship Officer.

XFlight is not only an aviation school but also an aeronautical services company that offers charter flights and services in an aeronautical shop located in Sauce Viejo Airport in Santa Fe. The agreement allows ALTA and XFlight to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience between this school's staff and ALTA members.
