Buenos Aires, September 20, 2024 - On September 19, during the ALTA Aviation Law Americas event held in Buenos Aires, the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) and the Colombian Aeronautical Law Bar Association (CADA) signed a Cooperation Agreement aimed at strengthening knowledge exchange in aeropolitical matters and promoting the development of innovative solutions for the aviation industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“This agreement aligns with our commitment to advancing a sustainable and viable roadmap for aviation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Together, we will foster knowledge exchange to benefit the entire industry, especially its users,” stated ALTA’s CEO.
Among the main goals of the agreement are the promotion of academic events on aviation law, the exchange of information on sustainable aviation fuels, and the creation of opportunities to connect technology and service providers.
“The signing represents significant progress on this issue in the region. Together, we will create initiatives that drive sustainability and connect the industry with innovative solutions, aiming for a brighter and more efficient future for air transport,” highlighted Olga Ramírez.
The memorandum will have an initial validity of one year, with the possibility of automatic renewal, standing out as a strategic action for the development of a more sustainable and efficient aviation industry.
