ALTA welcomes Drayton Aerospace as Affiliate Member

Rio de Janeiro, June 7th 2024 - Drayton Aerospace, major player in the global MRO (Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul) market, joins the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) as its newest affiliate member.

The company, founded in 2006, specializes in the repair and overhaul of components, structures, airframe and landing gear, tires and brakes, the commercialization of aeronautical material and the calibration and measurement of technical tools for a variety of fleets, including A320, A330, B737 CL/NG, B757, B767, ERJ, ATR, Hawker 800 and P-3. Its current operation is approved by the FAA, EASA, ANAC Brazil and DIRMAB (Brazilian Air Force).

Drayton Aerospace has operations in Brazil, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and China. With around 500 employees, the company successfully serves customers in a wide range of segments, from commercial airlines to general and government aviation.

When Drayton Aerospace started operations in Brazil in 2019 set an important milestone, acquiring all the equipment and tooling previously owned by TAP M&E in Porto Alegre. Since then, the company has been investing to enhance its capabilities, aiming to turn the Porto Alegre facility into an international center of excellence for airframe (Hangar 1), engines and components. In addition, in 2023, it has expanded its presence in South America by acquiring 19.000 m2 for landing gear and components service in Rio de Janeiro.
