Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group: New president of ALTA
Alvo will be the President of the Executive Committee for the period 2024-2025

Nassau, October 29, 2024 - The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announces the election of Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group, as Chairman of the Executive Committee for the period 2024-2025.
“We are honored to have Roberto as Chairman. His strategic vision and track record of innovative leadership will guide ALTA's initiatives to contribute to strengthening aviation in a sustainable and efficient way,” said José Ricardo Botelho, ALTA's CEO.
“ALTA has been growing and strengthening its operations to develop a service that is essential in Latin America and the Caribbean. Aviation is not only an engine of socio-economic growth, but often the only transportation option available to the population. Together, we will continue working so that more and more people can make use of air transport, the safest, most efficient and increasingly sustainable means of transportation,” said Alvo.
ALTA thanks Adrian Neuhauser, CEO of Abra Group, for his dedication, guidance and support during his presidency of ALTA. Neuhauser remains on the Executive Committee as vice-president, alongside Pedro Heilbron - CEO, John Rodgerson, CEO of Azul, Tracy Cooper, CEO of Bahamasair and Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico.
