Dear participant,
The Mexican tax legislation has changed recently and now it requires all foreign conference participants to provide a copy of your electronic FMMD “Multiple Migratory Digital Form”; ( your Mexican immigration form) to the conference organizer at your arrival to the hotel. This document is required in order for the organizer (ALTA) to register your visit to Mexico as a conference participant and with that you will get a waiver to discount the hotel and conference service tax.
During previous conferences in Mexico, this was done by asking participants for a copy of the paper immigration form at checking time at the hotel, however since this is now an electronic document, we need for you to download this form, print it, and bring it with you or to send us a copy of this document to the following e-mail address. 270 usd

What happens if we don’t get the form to waive your tax participation?
- Your visit to Mexico will be registered as a tourist participation, and you will be ask ed to pay at checkout time an additional 16% tax
- Your participation to the conference will also be registered as a tourist and you will need to pay an extra $270 usd at the conference registration area.
