The Mexican tax legislation has changed and, in order to get a waiver to discount the hotel and conference tax, all participants must provide a copy of the electronic FMMD “Multiple Migratory Digital Form” (your Mexican immigration form) to the conference organizer (ALTA) at your arrival to the hotel.
When filling the form, please remember to download, print it, and bring it with you or to send us a digital copy of this document to the following e-mail address:
dlopez@icorporateevents.com.

What happens if we don’t get the form to waive your tax participation?
- Your visit to Mexico will be registered as a tourist participation, and you will be asked to pay at checkout time an additional 16% tax
- Your participation to the conference will also be registered as a tourist and you will need to pay an extra $270 usd at the conference registration area.

NEW NOTES
- Do I NO longer need to complete the Forma Migratoria Multiple (FMM) also known as the Tourist Card to enter Mexico?
→ To enter the country of Mexico, you do not need to complete this form, BUT in order not to have to pay the government taxes at the hotel and at the conference (total estimated $800 usd), you do need to have this form completed and sent as advised in the instructions.
- What can I do if when trying to complete the form I receive an error, it gets stuck, or the site is not working properly and am unable to finish the process?
→ We are sorry you are experiencing these issues, unfortunately the website and the system is managed by the Mexican Government, and it is out our control to solve any issues pertaining to their system. Our recommendation is to close the browser and start all over again at a different time.
