Mr. Ramón Miró has served as CEO of Quito International Airport for the past five years. He brings decades of international experience across airport concessions, privatizations, banking, power deregulation, and management consulting. With over 15 years managing airport concessions, including Quito and San José, he combines operational expertise with strategic vision. He is a strong advocate of sustainability, focusing on the balance between people, environment, and economic value. Miró believes airports are key drivers of economic growth, job creation, and national branding, particularly in emerging markets. He holds an engineering degree from Trinity University, an MBA from Kellogg, and an IAP certification. He is recognized for leadership, adaptability, relationship-building, and a results-oriented, solutions-driven mindset.
