Claudia Tovar is a recognized leader in the global aviation fuel industry, with more than 30 years of experience spanning both the commercial and supply sides of the business. She currently serves as Vice President of LATAM Sales & Commercial Mexico at World Fuel Services, where she oversees strategic growth and commercial sales across the region.
Since joining WFS, Claudia has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in Mexico, managing sales, supply logistics, government relationships and customer contracts in one of the world’s most complex regulatory environments. Her leadership has helped position WFS as a trusted fuel partner throughout Latin America.
Prior to WFS, Claudia worked spent nearly a decade at Aeromexico Airlines, where she led global fuel acquisition and contributed to key financial and operational initiatives.
Claudia’s deep industry knowledge and strategic insight have earned her widespread respect as an expert in aviation fuel, particularly within the Latin American market.
