Aeromexico Connect
He began his aviation career in 2004 as First Officer at Aerolitoral (now Aeroméxico Connect), flying the Saab 340, ERJ-145, and Embraer E-Jets. He was promoted to Captain in 2015 and became a Type Rating Evaluator (TRE) in 2016, contributing to pilot training and standardization. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which he applied to lead automation, optimization, and training development projects within the airline.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the Labor Analysis Commission for ASPA de México, using data analytics to support collective bargaining negotiations and later managing compensation schemes for over 1,800 pilots.
In 2023, he completed a Master's degree in Big Data (UNIR) and was promoted to Fleet Chief at Aeroméxico Connect, later assuming the role of Deputy Chief of Training. He oversaw pilot development, simulator scheduling, and the full update of the Pilot Training Manual, approved by aviation authorities in late 2024. In June 2024, he was promoted to Chief of Flight Standards, where he currently leads the management of operational manuals, safety audits, and the implementation of EBT and CBTA best practices.
He co-founded AVG Aviation Consulting in 2022, providing strategic and technical advisory services to aeronautical organizations. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Project Management at UIIX, with a focus on innovation, human factors, and aeronautical training, expected to conclude in 2028.
