Felipe E. Baravalle is a highly respected aviation industry executive with extensive experience in airline representation, airport management, and public policy engagement. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna, Italy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Palermo.
Since 2015, he has served as Executive Director of JURCA (the Chamber of Airlines in Argentina), representing more than twenty domestic and international airlines operating in the country. In this role, he works closely with government authorities, regulators, industry stakeholders, and aviation partners on a wide range of strategic issues affecting the air transport sector. His responsibilities include advocacy and coordination on political, regulatory, financial, operational safety, and emerging technology matters, contributing to the sustainable development and competitiveness of the aviation industry in Argentina.
Prior to joining JURCA, Mr. Baravalle served as Airport Division Manager at London Supply Group from 2010 to 2015. In this position, he was responsible for the overall management and administration of Trelew, El Calafate, and Ushuaia airports, overseeing operational, commercial, and strategic activities aimed at enhancing airport performance, passenger experience, and regional connectivity.
Throughout his career, Mr. Baravalle has developed a strong reputation as a leader and advocate for the aviation sector, combining strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing airlines and airports in Latin America. His work continues to support collaboration across the industry and promote initiatives that strengthen aviation safety, efficiency, and long-term growth.
