Brice Banning, Senior Aviation Accident Investigator / NTSB
Brice Banning is a Senior Aviation Accident Investigator with the Air Carrier and Space Investigation Division at the National Transportation Safety Board in Washington, DC. He served as the Investigator-In-Charge (IIC) for the DCA Midair Collision. Since joining the NTSB in 2012, he has served as the IIC, group chairman and accredited representative for numerous aircraft accident investigations both foreign and domestic. Prior to joining the Safety Board, Mr. Banning served as a Federal Aviation Administration Principal Operations Inspector with the Fairbanks Flight Standards District Office. Mr. Banning is an Airline Transport Pilot with commercial privileges for single engine land and sea, Certified Fight Instructor, Multi-engine Instructor, and Instrument Instructor, as well as a certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
