Mike Snover, Director, Global Safety & Regulatory Affairs, Latin America & Caribbean / Boeing
Since January 2022, Mike Snover has led the Boeing Global Safety & Regulatory Affairs team for the Latin America and Caribbean region. In this role, he directs a high-performing team focused on advancing airline safety initiatives and fostering collaborative engagement with regional regulatory authorities.
Mike serves as Boeing’s chief delegate to the ICAO NACC and SAM offices and participates in the SRVSOP Junta General, driving efforts toward safety and regulatory harmonization across the region. He maintains strategic partnerships with Boeing airline safety leaders and key regulatory agencies to ensure alignment on safety standards and regulatory compliance.
With over 30 years of experience at Boeing Customer Support, Mike brings deep industry expertise and a global perspective, having held assignments in Argentina, Taiwan, Ireland, China, and Brazil. He began his career at Boeing’s Seattle Delivery and Flight Test Center, gaining hands-on experience with multiple aircraft programs including the 707, 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777. Transitioning to Field Service in 1995, Mike supported airline operations and served as a Regional Manager. Most recently, as Leasing Fleet Support Chief since 2017, he led the Lessor Customer Support team, delivering critical services to facilitate seamless aircraft transitions between lessees.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his two daughters, Hailey and Laynie, and their families. He is an avid snow skier, boater, hiker, and takes pleasure in home remodeling projects.
