ALTA FUEL & SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE

The only event that addresses the regional context for fuel, SUSTAINABILITY and SAF

Dear Participant,
The ALTA FUEL & SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE will take place in Bogota, Colombia March 12-14, 2024. The conference will be held at the Hilton Corferias Hotel.

This 3 days conference will feature academic presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Bogota is a great stage to drive discussions on fuel supply, SUSTAINABILITY , sustainability and circular economy initiatives.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Although, most destinations have lifted the covid 19 requirements, we strongly advise all our participants to reach out to Colombia Official consulates or embassies to consult for documentation, visas, vaccines or any other document or requirement to visit Colombia at least a week before your departure. We also recommend considering the option of purchasing international travel insurance and / coverage as a precaution in case you need help while traveling.

AGENDA

The agenda of second edition of the ALTA FUEL & SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE will address topics related to local initiatives on SAF production and other sustainable fuels like hydrogen in Latin America and the Caribbean, regulatory frameworks, updates on the jet fuel markets, infrastructure, taxes and fees, carbon offsetting and carbon markets, and ALTA initiatives on relevant issues.

Hilton Bogota Corferias

Located in the heart of Bogota. Hilton Bogota is located within Corferias, Bogota’s main business center, as well as connected to the Agora Bogota Convention Center. The airport is about 10 kilometers away from the hotel. The hotel includes a variety of amenities such as fitness club, restaurants, lounges, among others.

Ground Transportation 

Official Taxis are located right before the exit doors located after clearing customs. need a taxi we suggest you secure your ride with any of the companies located in this area.
Uber is also a good option, however it is recommended for you to request your ride once you are outside the airport terminal since Uber drivers are usually very close by and parking to wait for riders is not allowed.

Dress code

Business casual for meetings and social events. Bogotá has a year long Spring-like weather, but it can get chilly. We do recommend that you bring a sweater.


REGISTRATION & INFORMATION schedule

Your name badge and registration materials will be available for pick up March 12 in the 2nd floor.
Registration opens at 1:00PM. Badges will be required and must be worn at all conference activities.
