Important Information before your arrival

 

Dear CCMA & MRO Conference Participant,
Thank you for your participation in the CCMA & MRO Conference. We are very excited and ready to meet again. In preparation for this highly anticipated conference, we want to share with you the following important information. The suggested points are designed to help you save time, make your travel experience more comfortable, and keep you safe.

TRANSPORTATION (Airport / Hotel / Airport)
To ensure a successful pickup, shared transfers must be booked before August 18, 2021.
Our team interviewed several transportation companies, and after a rigorous evaluation, we have selected Connect DMC. Our evaluation included security and safety protocols, driving records, vehicle sanitation procedures, staff health records procedures, arrival sanitation procedures, friendliness, and pricing.
The CCMA and MRO conference encourages you only to use the transportation company we have selected. We know there are many options available. However, we highly suggest considering Connect DMC. They have met the protocols and safety measures.
The Connect DMC team will be expecting you with the ALTA CCMA logo. Bare in mind representatives from taxis and other companies will approach you. However, please continue towards the end. The Connect DMC staff will be waiting for you outside in their uniform and conference logo on hand.
We are offering two options for transportation a private and shared service. Below you can select your preferred service.

SAFETY STANDARDS
The ALTA CCMA & MRO conference will follow the highest safety standards recommended by WTTC and health authorities to guarantee the safety and peace of mind of each one of our participants.
Attendees are required to
  • Sign an electronic form at registration agreeing to wear a mask at all times on property, and to submit to a temperature check if you leave the property
  • Cover nose and mouth with masks or approved face covers at all times
  • Use hand sanitizer or wash hands upon entry and exit of the convention center
  • Refrain from certain actions like handshakes or high-fives
  • Preserve physical distancing wherever possible
  • Limit networking in groups or crowds to a maximum of 4 while maintaining distance

HOTEL
We encourage all attendees to stay at the host hotel, the Hard Rock Punta Cana, due to the safety of all participants.

If you are unable to stay at the host hotel, please contact us so we can coordinate your entry to the property during the dates of the event from Sunday, August 22 to Tuesday, August 24, 2021. This also applies to companions registered for the conference.

Please send a notification at least 72 hours before your arrival to coordinate access. Otherwise, we will not be able to provide access. Notifications must be sent to conferencesandmeetings@alta.aero

Covid – Testing
The hotel has a dedicated area for all guests for Covid-19 testing and is complimentary for 2 people per room for stays of 3 nights or more. PCR tests are included for stays of 7 nights or more, exclusively for countries that require it and meet the minimum number of nights. Participants who require an antigen test and stay less than 3 nights, such as those who require a PCR test and stay less than 7 nights, must pay for the test at the Reception.
  • Antigen tests: US $ 35.00 per person.
  • PCR tests: US $ 90.00 per person.
For your convenience, this service is available by appointment only. You need to notify the hotel upon your arrival to schedule your appointment.

 

Requirements to make a reservation.
  • Have your passport ready
  • Valid email address
  • Departure flight information
  • phone number
  • You must consider the time frame to get the results
  • Reservation must be done the day of your arrival
  • Antigen Tests must be done 72 hours before departure flight.
  • PCR tests need 48 hours to retrieve results
  • All test results need to be within 72 hours of departure flight.

COMPANIONS
Companions are welcome to join us for the evening events and family day events only. Companions will not be able to attend any mini-meetings, general session, table top/exhibition area, and/or any other closed conference activities. If you, or any of your partners/colleagues have been registered as a companion, but are planning to attend mini-meetings, visit the waiting room area, attend the general session, or participate in coffee breaks or table tops, please contact us at conferencesandmeetings@alta.aero so we can assist you in updating your registration.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
We advise all participants to check with your local authorities' and the authorities in Punta Cana for travel requirements before your departure. We also recommend considering the option of purchasing international travel insurance and / coverage should you need help while traveling. Also, please check with your local Consulate for entry Visa requirements.

INFORMATION DESK
If you are participating in the golf tournament, we ask that you arrive at the Hard Rock Hotel by 6:30 am on Sunday.

If you wish to participate in the volleyball or soccer tournament, please send an email to conferencesandmeetings@alta.aero
